Greetings from the WBU Secretariat. We hope you and yours are keeping safe and staying healthy.

On Thursday, May 26 at 8:00 am eastern/12:00 UTC, the WBU will hold a one-hour workshop on CRPD Alternative Reports. Attendees will learn what an alternative report is, why it matters, and how to produce an effective and impactful alternative report.

It is impossible to talk about disability rights advocacy today without referring to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The CRPD is an incredibly powerful tool for change, and the alternative report process is the key mechanism that organizations of persons with disabilities can use to advance CRPD rights at the local and national level.

Join Marc Workman, WBU CEO, and Vibhu Sharma, WBU Human Rights and Development Program Officer, along with special guest, Jose Viera, Director of Advocacy with the International Disability Alliance, for an informative session that will help your organization take full advantage of the CRPD's alternative report process.
