Dear Colleagues,

Thank you so much for those that could join us for the first UN Women Disability Inclusion webinar. We wanted to share the recording for those that are interested. The links are copied at the end of this message. As there was a few technical difficulties, please forgive the pauses or gaps.

To have a idea for which of our fantastic speakers spoke when,  please reference the agenda attached.

In addition, as our UN Women colleague briefed us on engagement in the Beijing +25 CSO engagement opportunities at the regional level, please find attached the dates, locations, and contact individuals for each of the regional Beijing +25 consultations. As mentioned, we are wanting as many women and girls with disabilities to interact in the Beijing +25 review process as possible.

Please in addition find copied below the announcement and links to the NGO Parallel Reporting Guidelines for Beijing +25 in 5 languages!

NGOs need an independent, collective voice to critically examine progress, look at challenges, and make recommendations on how their countries have implemented the Beijing Platform for Action (BPfA). A team of experts have compiled the NGO Guidance for Parallel Reports to assess the progress or lack thereof in the implementation of the Beijing Platform for Action in their countries. The purpose of these NGO guidelines is to give NGOs a common template to prepare country reports, but everyone should feel free to change it to their own contexts.
