Bridge CRPD-SDGs Training Initiative Training of Trainers Module B, Dubai 2018
October 17 to 26, 2018

The International Disability Alliance (IDA) and the International Disability and Development Consortium (IDDC) are holding the Module B of the Bridge CRPD-SDGs Training of Trainers 2018 with support from the World Blind Union, TCI Asia Pacific, Sightsavers, ADD International, Bridging the Gap Project – Austria, the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).

Trainees are advocates from the IFHOH, IFSBH, WFD, ADF, RIADIS, TCI Asia Pacific, IPWDGN, ADD International and Bridging the Gap – Austria.

In addition to the training, the Bridge trainees will be participating in the UN World Data Forum, that is taking place from 22 to 24 October. The Bridge CRPD-SDGs Training Initiative brings 26 people to the World Data Forum. 100% of the trainees are persons with disabilities themselves, of that 66 % are women; and 84% are from the most underrepresented groups.
