In the lead up to the global conference - Global Disability and Social Protection Conference, regional consultations are being undertaken to hear from the disability community and other key partners and stakeholders, such as yourselves, on what more needs to be done to realise universal social protection coverage for persons with disability.

The Pacific event is co-hosted by DFAT and Pacific Disability Forum (PDF)

Most of us will be in listening mode for this event, however we want to know what opportunities, gaps and barriers you are seeing in your work contexts too. As we have a tightly packed agenda I ask you to email me in advance if you have any questions or key points that you would like to raise or like considered in the statement that will be presented at the global conference on 16 March - The statement will provide a stocktake on where we are at and where to next for the Pacific.
