Dear colleagues,
The World Blind Union is pleased to invite expressions of interest to present at the World Blindness Summit, taking place September 1–3, 2025, immediately followed by the WBU General Assembly on September 4 and 5, in São Paulo, Brazil.
The Summit is the world’s most internationally representative event for blind and partially sighted leaders, advocates, and allies. We welcome proposals for presentations, workshops, or panels that reflect the diversity of experiences and priorities in our global movement.
Topics may include, but are not limited to:

  *   Inclusive education and early intervention
  *   Aging and vision loss
  *   Accessibility in cities and transportation
  *   Political advocacy and international human rights
  *   Digital accessibility and assistive technology
  *   Employment, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment
  *   Disability in humanitarian and emergency contexts
  *   Intersectionality, gender, and disability rights
Proposals may be submitted in English, French, or Spanish using the following form:

Please note: funding to support participation is limited. Submitting a proposal does not guarantee financial assistance or inclusion in the final program.
