[PDFlist] Virtual Participation to the World Bank's Advance Universal Health Coverage MDTF

Bula and Warm Pacific Greetings and I hope my email finds you well, healthy, and vibrant.



Please be informed that our CEO, Setareki Macanawai will be at a World Bank in Canberra on Friday 12th April at 1pm Canberra Time and 3pm Fiji Time.



This is the first official engagement between PDF and the World Bank, and we hope to extend the invitation to our OPDs to join in virtually to the session which CEO Seta will be participating in.  This opportunity is an opening to many more progress on disability equity and inclusion in the region particularly on the area of health.  Our virtual participation to the meeting is appreciated.



Casper and our colleagues in Honiara, we discussed this event, Casper, during our debrief session should you recall.    Kerry and I went to the bank to determine its accessibility.  You may join in virtually from your office or you may join in from the Bank which is in Central Bank Building near the DFAT Office.  If you consider joining in virtually from the Bank, please confirm with me so I can advise Michael accordingly.    Upon discussions with Michael on that same day we visited, and as discussed with you, there is a bucket of funding on Mental Health and perhaps you may wish to have more discussion with Michael on this.



FDPF and Affiliates, should you wish, you may come into PDF office to join the meeting with PDF Staff.  I will be sending the zoom link once I receive from the Bank.
