Greetings to all,

People from across the Pacific are encouraged to submit a conference presentation for the South Pacific Educators in Vision Impairment Conference to be held Wednesday 18 - Friday 20 January 2023.

The SPEVI NZ conference theme: "Cultivating New Futures Together: Growth for Life" expresses the belief that we must work together to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people who are blind, deafblind or have low vision.

SPEVI are seeking presentations of 30 minutes duration (with an additional 10 minutes for questions) focused on transitions, innovative research and approaches, community, partnerships, technology or families.

The Call for Papers closes Friday 12 August. Further details including the submission page for the Call for Papers can be located on the website: https://www.speviconference.org.au/program/

Please note that we are also aiming for sponsorship of a number of hubs across the Pacific to enable people to gather in a venue with good internet connection, food and be around others interested in the education of people who are blind or vision impaired in the Pacific. This may encourage you to submit an abstract with the aim that you will be face to face with others and have good internet for your presentation.
