Thank you for your continued support towards our common goal of an Inclusive Pacific by 2030.

The Global Disability Summit is held every four years and this year, to ensure that Pacific issues and our collective voices are heard, the Australian Government along with the New Zealand Government have partnered with the Pacific Disability Forum and the Pacific Island Forum Secretariat to host a Pacific Satellite Summit.

With the theme - Promoting Equality: Lasting Change for Persons with Disabilities through Joint Action, the Pacific Satellite Summit will be a hybrid event which will bring together Pacific organizations of & for persons with disabilities as well as stakeholders and partners to discuss the theme with a specific focus on Capacity-strengthening of organizations of persons with disabilities, Inclusive Education and Inclusion in situations of crises and conflict.

In continuing with this great spirit of teamwork and Pacific solidarity, I would like to call on all of you to join us next week Wednesday (16th February 2022) for the Pacific Satellite Summit.
