The Pacific Islands Climate Action Network (PICAN), its member affiliates and partners, we are pleased to extend to you the invitation to be part of the upcoming Pacific Climate Justice Summit.

The Pacific Climate Justice Summit will be a hybrid event (virtual & in-person event) that will take place on the 3rd - 4th of August 2021, bringing together key state and non-state actors with the primary objective of solidifying strong human rights and climate justice policy positions, and building a unified regional front in lead up to the 26th Conference of Parties (COP26) in Glasgow.

With the theme "The Rising Tide: A United Pacific for Climate Justice", the Summit will provide an opportunity to identify key priorities and create strong foundation for collaborations amongst key stakeholders to promote human rights & climate justice. More importantly, the event aims to enhance understanding and raise awareness on key emerging themes, bringing to the center of the discussions the voices of vulnerable groups such as women & girls, people with disabilities, indigenous communities, persons of diverse sexual & gender identities and youth.
