I hope this email finds you all well.

On behalf of the Pacific Climate Justice Summit Working Group, I am pleased to share that we are today, launching the call for registrations for the Summit.

The Pacific Climate Justice Summit will be a hybrid event (virtual & in-person event) that will take place from the 3rd - 4th of August 2021 and will bring together a wide range of key state and non-state actors with the primary objective of solidifying strong human rights and climate justice policy positions in lead up to the 26th Conference of Parties (COP26) in Glasgow and beyond.

With the theme “The Rising Tide: A United Pacific for Climate Justice”, the Summit will provide an opportunity to identify key priorities relating to climate justice and create strong foundation for partnerships amongst key stakeholders to promote human rights & climate justice. The event also aims to enhance understanding and raise awareness of intersectionality, human rights and climate justice, by exchanging knowledge and learnings from policy, programmes, and practice.

Please find attached the concept note of the event together with the event flyer, and we kindly request if you can share this with your networks and on your respective social media platforms. More details about the event will be shared in the coming weeks.
