RE: WBU OFFICERS' MEETING

On behalf of the WBU President, Dr. Fredric K. Schroeder, I am pleased to invite you to the next Officers' meeting to be held virtually, via Zoom, from 26 to 28 October 2020.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting will be held virtually on Zoom. It will be conducted in two-hour sessions each of the three days as follows:

·       October 26 from 7 A.M to 9 A.M EST (1 P.M to 3 P.M GMT)

·       October 28 from 7 A.M to 9 A.M EST (1 P.M to 3 P.M GMT) 

·       October 30  from 7 A.M to 9 A.M EST (1 P.M to 3 P.M GMT)

You are welcome to attend the meeting as an observer. This is in line with our efforts to optimize members' representation and strengthen the capacity of our regional organisations. It is an opportunity to engage with each other, to facilitate interactions, resource sharing, and work collaboratively.

The Agenda of the meeting will be circulated closer to the date.

For smooth running of the meeting, we kindly ask you to observe the following guidelines:

1.  Please login at least 10-15 minutes early to ensure that any technical glitches are resolved before the meeting begins.

2.  Each participant will be expected to manage their microphone to reduce background noise and interruption. You will be required to mute your mic when not speaking and unmute when it is your turn to speak. In the event that one forgets to mute or unmute themselves, WBU (the organiser) will be able to mute and unmute your microphone.

3.  For introductions section, names of each participant will be read out, the participant will unmute their mic, introduce themself and mute the mic after the introduction.

4.  The meeting will use audio only.

5.  Also, during the meeting, we shall NOT use the Chat function. If you need to share something, you will be required to turn on your mic and ask to speak.

6.  The meeting will be recorded for minutes purposes only. WBU will keep the recording confidential.
