Warm greetings from RI Korea.

We are glad to inform you of following workshop that might be very meaningful for you.

The Korea Disabled People’s Development Institute in collaboration with team members from Harvard Law School Project on Disability is pleased to announce the organization of a intensive workshop in Seoul between the 4th and 9th of November 2019.
The workshop aims to help young leaders in the disability sector, as well as development sector mainly from Asia and the Pacific region to build knowledge and skills in the area of disability inclusive development cooperation together with the tools to deliver participatory disability inclusive development workshops.

- Workshop Title:  Disability Inclusive Development Train-the-Trainers Intensive Workshop
- Overall Objective: To design and implement a pilot Train-the-Trainers program focusing on building knowledge and skills in the area of disability inclusive development together with the tools to deliver participatory disability inclusive development workshops.
- Venue: Seoul or Gyung-gi province
- Timing: From 4th to 9th of November 2019
- Participants:  Up to 20 participants from Korea (approximately 5 participants) and from the Asia Pacific region (up to 15). Participants will reflect gender diversity, possess 10 to 15 years of experience working either in the disability or development sector, include participants with lived experience of disability and reflect geographical diversity from the Asia Pacific region.1  Each participant will commit to undertaking a training program within their own community within 6 months.

*Disability Accommodations:  The Workshop team will ask in advance for required disability accommodations for all participants (for example, Large Print format for materials; electronic version of materials; sign language interpretation, among others)
