RIA members & friends

Accessible housing

As advised our April 2020 Accessible Housing Forum is scheduled in Sydney as attached Flyer and Program.

Standards Australia are generously providing the venue and we thank ABCB and ANUHD for involvement and support.

Registrations are now open with details provided on the attached updated Flyer - and places are limited.


R&IA projects

R&IA Project Officer David Havercroft is proceeding with our ACT Housing Initiative Project.

The project is specifically tasked with identifying the current range of suitable housing options for people with disability in the ACT, ensuring people can readily access information on these options, at the same time as stimulating innovation in housing development to better suit people's needs.


R&IA AGM

Our AGM was held on 13 December and we are pleased to confirm that Maree Pavloudis from the ACT and Geoff Barker from WA are now R&IA directors.

Maree and Geoff join Zel Iscel, Michael Bleasdale, Sue Salthouse, Michael Fox and Peter Simpson on the R&IA Board.


Asia Pacific

Michael Bleasdale recently represented R&IA at the KDF (Korean Disability Forum) November capacity building workshop for CRPD-SDGs in Seoul. We plan to provide a report in due course.
