Greetings from the Pacific Disability Forum.

The Pacific Disability Forum is inviting interested individuals to be part of its team as a Research Consultant.

The consultant will be part of the research team for the project "Addressing the vulnerabilities of women with disabilities in the event of loss and damage by climate change".  The consultant is expected to:

*         Search the relevant literature in relation to the case study research, particularly on vulnerabilities of women and girls with disabilities in the context of loss and damage by climate change. This includes looking across literature sources written by research institutions, governments, UN agencies & NGOs amongst others;

*         Assist in the critical synthesis of the literature and in the writing of the literature review in order to identify the emerging findings related to vulnerabilities of women and girls with disabilities in the context of loss and damage by climate change;

*         Assist in the development of research protocols for the field study (including survey questions and research database);

*         Conduct the field study together with the PDF team at the selected sites; and

*         Assist in drafting the report, presenting the report to relevant stakeholders at the validation workshop and refining the final research report, taking into account feedback and inputs received.

Interested applicants are invited to submit an expression of interest (EOI) for the position. All EOI submitted should contain the following:

*         Details regarding the consultant, including curriculum vitae, referees, past experience in this area of work, and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and the requirements of this consultancy;

*         Availability;

*         Proposed consultancy fee.
