Target group
We welcome applications (Asia-Pacific People's Forum on Sustainable Development and the APFSD) from those who are based in Asia and the Pacific and especially those who:
* Have in-depth expertise and experience related to the theme of the APFSD 2020; and are engaged in the 2030 Agenda and SDGs-related processes.
* Work on any the six entry points and 4 "levers of change" (governance, economy and finance, individual and collective action and science and technology) from the Global Sustainable Development Report. The 6 entry points are:
* Human well-being and capabilities;
* Sustainable and just economies;
* Sustainable food systems and healthy nutrition patterns;
* Energy decarbonization and universal access to energy;
* Sustainable urban and peri-urban development;
* Securing the global environmental commons
* Are members of grassroots constituencies, and/or working directly with grassroots constituencies.
* Working in ESCAP-member countries that have signed up for Voluntary National Review at the HLPF in 2020 (Armenia, Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, Democratic Republic of Korea, Georgia, India, Kyrgyzstan, Micronesia, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Russian Federation, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Uzbekistan).

* Application forms will be reviewed by ESCAP in consultation with the Asia Pacific Regional CSO Engagement Mechanism, prioritizing those who best fit the target group described, and to ensure balance in geographic and thematic representation, scope of mandate, gender, and the level of experience with the regional process of sustainable development among other factors. Please read the criteria/target group carefully and make your application as strong as possible.
