Commonwealth Scholarships Commission
As a Non-Government Organisation (NGO) nominating agency, Pacific Disability Forum would like to invite interested applicants who are either themselves persons with disabilities or who wish to study subjects related to disability.  Any applicant who do not fulfil either of these criteria's must instead apply through the national agency competitions.

Funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID), Commonwealth Master's Scholarships enable talented and motivated individuals to gain the knowledge and skills required for sustainable development, and are aimed at those who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK.

These scholarships are offered under six themes:

  1.  Science and technology for development
  2.  Strengthening health systems and capacity
  3.  Promoting global prosperity
  4.  Strengthening global peace, security and governance.
  5.  Strengthening resilience and response to crises
  6.  Access, inclusion and opportunity

Commonwealth Master's Scholarships are for candidates from low and middle income Commonwealth countries, to undertake full-time taught Master's study at a UK university.  For the purpose of this scholarship announcement, candidates must be from the following Pacific Commonwealth Countries.

  1.  Fiji
  2.  Kiribati
  3.  Nauru
  4.  Papua New Guinea
  5.  Samoa
  6.  Solomon Islands
  7.  Tonga
  8.  Tuvalu
  9.  Vanuatu

Commonwealth PhD Scholarships are for candidates from Least Developed countries and Fragile states in the commonwealth for full-time doctoral study at a UK university. For the purpose of this scholarship announcement, candidates who wish to apply must be from the following Pacific Commonwealth Countries.

  1.  Kiribati
  2.  Solomon Islands
  3.  Tuvalu
  4.  Vanuatu
