Persons with Disabilities Exempt from Brussels LEZ

G3ict Partners with ICOM Russia to Promote More inclusive Museums
The Global Initiative for Inclusive Information and Communication Technologies (G3ict) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Russian National Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM)<https://gaates.us7.list-manage.com/track/click?u=c9e95602d3d7209e71c920bfa&id=47f57a701e&e=6b6416efd0>, an international organization of museums and museum professionals committed to the conservation, continuation, and promotion of the world's natural and cultural heritage. G3ict will collaborate with the Russian National Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) to advance the use of technology for more accessible museums and greater digital inclusion for more than 11 million persons with disabilities across Russia.

Certified Professional in Accessible Built Environments (CPABE)
The CPABE<https://gaates.us7.list-manage.com/track/click?u=c9e95602d3d7209e71c920bfa&id=4143ec408d&e=6b6416efd0> Job Task Analysis survey is available in English, Spanish, and Mandarin and will remain open until May 30. If you are a built environment professional who champions universal design and accessible spaces please respond and ensure their opinions are heard.  The results of the survey will establish the blueprint for a dedicated Body of Knowledge and exam writing for this certification. As we prepare for next steps in the taskforce's workplan, IAAP is calling for additional volunteer subject matter experts to take part. Strategic Leader in Accessibility (SLiA) - Upcoming Community of Practice Meeting
The taskforce assembled to implement the Strategic Leader in Accessibility initiative continues to make progress towards its deliverables. The team is beginning to build out a dedicated Body of Knowledge for this role. The next meeting is May 28 at 10 AM EDT and will focus on the fourth proposed domain of the initiative: Resource Engagement.
