Dear Office Managers,

Greetings from your secretariat.

Please find attached the template for you to use to fill in your upcoming DPO Events that you are planning for the next few weeks. Please note that you can use either the word or excel templates to record your upcoming events, whichever you feel comfortable in using.  These events can either be a workshop and training for DPO members, CRPD Awareness Community Visits, School Visits, Workshop, Trainings and Awareness Events for Other stakeholder including governments and other CSOs or NGOs. The event that you enter on this template have to be primarily organised or co-organised/ hosted by the DPO.

I am kindly requesting if you can please submit this by COB Thursday 31st August 2017.

This information is needed from the secretariat to:

1.       Promote the work of PDF and its members.

2.       Raise the profile of DPOs by sharing the work that you doing in your various countries on disability inclusion.

3.       Raise awareness among PDF network and reach at the global, regional and national level on the work of each DPOs nationally

All information collected will be collated in PDF's weekly updates that will be shared among PDF partners globally, regionally and nationally every Monday of each week beginning from 4th September 2017.

Further to the above, please also share with us some of your achievements and events successfully completed in July and August of 2017.

Please also find attached the breakdown of PDF buddy programme for your information.

If you have any further queries, clarifications or information, please do not hesitate to contact your buddies at the Secretariat.
