Dear colleagues,

We would like to invite you to endorse the official submission paper prepared on behalf of the Stakeholder Group of Persons with Disabilities to the HLPF. The submission paper addresses the annual theme of the HLPF through the Sustainable Development Goals that are under review this year. As such, the paper focuses on eradicating poverty and promoting prosperity for persons with disabilities through the lens of Goals 1, 2, 3, 5, 9, and 14. The document addresses the situation and challenges encountered by persons with disabilities globally and provides recommendations in line with the CRPD.  The introduction section (page 1 of the document) will be translated into six official UN languages. The remaining five pages will be part of the official documents, but will not be translated and only published in English.
