<p class="MsoNormal">The CRPD Committee has initiated the process towards a general comment on Article 27 of the CRPD (right to work and employment), by posting relevant information on its
<a href="https://www.ohchr.org/EN/HRBodies/CRPD/Pages/GeneralDiscussions.aspx" target="_blank">
website</a>.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The Committee will hold a <b>Day of General Discussion</b> online, though Kudo platform, on Monday,
<b>22 March</b> 2021 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m (GVA time), and on Wednesday, <b>
24 March</b> 2021 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m (GVA time).<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The Committee is calling for <b>written contributions</b> on the theme of the DGD, which should not exceed 10 pages and should be in English, French or Spanish. The deadline for their submission is
<b>15 March 2021.</b> <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The Committee also invites all stakeholders, including organizations of persons with disabilities and non-governmental organizations, to participate in the DGD through oral statements, which should be submitted in writing by <b><span style="color:black">15
March 2021, the latest.</span></b> <o:p></o:p></p>

(also attached), which should be read carefully in the lead up to the DGD and prior to the preparation of written submissions and oral statements.<o:p></o:p></p>
