</span><span lang="EN-AU">begins on Monday (2 March) at Taumeasina Island Resort. This is the first time
<b>any </b>of the United Nations Treaty Body Committees have held a regional session outside Geneva or New York and there are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved in this historic event.

<b>all open to the public </b>(no accreditation required). The lunchtime side events will all be held in a talanoa format and be attended by the committee members. This is a unique opportunity to engage with the committee on the topics under debate.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-AU">The parallel events programme are more workshop in nature. Of particular interest to CSOs is the UPR event from
<b>10am on Wednesday 4 March</b>. This will be an opportunity to learn about the UPR process from a world expert and explore how your organisation can participate in it and raise awareness of your organisational work to inform the outcomes.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
