The Director Operations is responsible for providing oversight of all programmes including emergency response, gender, youth, DPO and inclusive development, policy, research and finance and corporate services for the Pacific Disability Forum. The position reports
directly to the CEO and will be responsible for driving and achieving the following critical outcomes for the organisation:</p>

<li><strong>Effectively managing programs </strong>

<li>Ensure the program team delivers the desired outcomes and objectives, identification of funding risks and funding utilised effectively
</li><li>Program Framework is developed, implemented and is compliant with PDF and donor policy management
</li><li>Program brief and papers for project funding are reviewed and provision of program assistance

<li>Ensure the development, review, approval and compliant monitoring reports for donors
</li><li>PDF effectively represented in public forums and relevant internal & external stakeholder meeting effectively led as required by the CEO
</li><li>Leadership and contribution to the development of disability policy and practice
</li></ul>
</li><li><strong>Efficient management of finance and corporate services</strong>
<ul>
<li>Effective oversight of the Finance unit, financial reports provided and analysed with donor funding utilisation monitored as required
</li><li>Support training for all staff and PDF capabilities identified (succession planning)
</li></ul>
</li><li><strong>Support the unit through an improvement in member and stakeholder service levels</strong>
</li><li><strong>Proper management of member and stakeholder support through advocacy, research, projects and initiatives

The person we seek will have a postgraduate qualification in development studies, advocacy/ communications, minimum 5 years’ experience in program management in the public, private and disability sector with demonstrated experience in a representational role.

</li><li><strong>Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills</strong>
