Tonga to mark 150 years of its Constitution with week of events
The kingdom will observe the sesquicentennial of its constitution with a five-day national celebration. The Office of the Prime Minister of Tonga has announced that Tonga will commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Constitution of Tonga (first adopted 4 November 1875) with a week-long program of events from 31 October to 4 November 2025. Palau enacts Comprehensive Disability Act to support equal opportunities
KOROR, Palau — A new law designed to enhance support and services for persons with disabilities in Palau has been enacted, establishing an Office of Persons with Disabilities and mandating the development of a comprehensive national policy. The legislation, known as the Persons with Disabilities Act (RPPL No. 11-36), seeks to ensure equal opportunities and full participation in society for Palau’s disabled population.
