Subject: Official Notification of Organisation Name Change and Transition to New Email Address

Warm Pacific greetings.



On behalf of the board members, management, and staff, we are pleased to formally inform your office that the organisation formerly known as Spinal Injury Association (SIA) Fiji has officially changed its name to Fiji Mobility Alliance (FMA) registered under the Charitable Trust Act 1945. The new certificate of registration was approved and issued on the 21st of August 2025 to the organization.



This change was duly endorsed by the members of the organisation during a Special Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Friday, 12 December 2025. The new name reflects our evolving vision, mission, and commitment to advancing mobility, inclusion, and accessibility for all.



In line with this transition, please note that the organisation will also be migrating to a new official email address for all correspondence. Effective 1st of January 2026, we will no longer be using SIA email addresses. Kindly update your records accordingly and direct all future communications to the following:

We have received confirmation for the new bank account with Westpac Bank, and we are hoping to have the new bank account open this week. FMA will also update the organisation's social media platforms, and we will continue to provide updates on these changes.



The current Board Members and Secretariat remain in place during this transition period and continue to guide the organisation’s strategic direction and operations.

Our office will be closed from Monday 22nd of December 2025, and will reopen on Tuesday, 6th of January 2026.
