Dear All,
Join us on 21 August (7pm Fiji, 8pm Nukualofa, 2pm Bangkok, 5pm Sydney AEST) for the first session of the two-part webinar series Pathways to Inclusive Social Protection: Beyond Cash Transfer: Integrated Support for Inclusion for Persons with Disabilities, organised by the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) in partnership with UNICEF and hosted by socialprotection.org<http://socialprotection.org/>.
If you register for the webinar, you will be sent the recording after the event.
This series explores how inclusive and gender-responsive social protection systems can be designed to support those most at risk of exclusion and insecurity.
This session will explore multisector approaches to disability inclusion, focusing on how social protection, assistive technologies, inclusive healthcare, education, and community-based services can work together to overcome cost-related barriers and foster full participation across the lifecycle. In support of the 6 preconditions approach.
Hear from experts including Ms Faatino Utumapu, from Nuanua O Le Alofa and Ms Nantanoot Suwannawut, Director of International Cooperation Section, Thai Ministry of Social Development and Human Security on emerging evidence, integrated support packages, and financing to advance disability inclusion globally.
International sign language interpretation will be available.
