Dear all,

Please disseminate widely- Deadline 31 October 2024!

The ILO has reserved 11 internship positions specifically for interns with disabilities in the October 2024 roster. Six of these positions are allocated in ILO-Headquarters (Geneva) and 4 in ILO Regional Offices – Africa (Abidjan), Asia and the Pacific (Bangkok), Europe (Brussels Country Office), Latin America and the Caribbean (Lima).

Applicants without a disability are not eligible to apply for these positions.

These internship positions are for a period of 6 months. In case an intern is not supported by an institution (university, government or other), a monthly stipend to cover basic subsistence costs is paid by the ILO. The amount of the stipend depends on the assigned duty station.

If a selected candidate is from a non- or underrepresented country, they may also be eligible for having their travel expenses covered by the ILO.

Please note that candidates with disabilities are eligible and welcome to apply to any internship position, not just reserved positions. Their application to other positions will be considered and assessed as any other application. Candidates can apply up to a maximum of 3 internship positions, whether they are reserved for candidates with disabilities or not.

If needed, reasonable accommodation will be provided to candidates with disabilities in the recruitment phase as well as during the internship. Candidates can request reasonable accommodation at the time of application by answering the appropriate question within each profile.
