It is with mixed emotions that I read your email - very sad that you have transitioned out of the role of CEO of PDF but at the same time very grateful for your service to the region and to persons with disability, very proud of your legacy which includes a strong PDF and an increase in the importance of the rights of PWD in the region, and very happy you will now have more time to devote to Ana and your family.

You should be proud of your achievements as CEO.

Wishing you all the very best for your future endeavours and looking to maintaining contact moving forward.

A very warm Pacific greetings to you all!

As I see off a historic Friday evening here at the PDF Secretariat in Suva, Fiji Islands, and acknowledging that this is also my final day as CEO of our great organisation, the Pacific Disability Forum, I take this opportunity to thank all the members, staff, partners, friends and admirers of PDF for the memorable journey I had with you since I took up this role as founding CEO 17 years and 6 months ago. We have created something very beautiful and special here in the Pacific and trust you will look after it and take it to even greater heights in the months and years ahead!

On behalf of Ana and my family, I thank the governing Board of PDF for allowing me to serve this great organisation, the wonderful team here at the Secretariat that I have been very fortunate to work with all these years, and the Governments of Australia and New Zealand as well as our numerous project partners for all your financial and technical assistance over this period.
