The International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) will host the Promoting Responsive and Inclusive Media Education (PRIME) Regional Dialogue virtually on April 7, 8:30 am-11:30am Bangkok time. The dialogue will bring together civil society, academics, journalists and government officials to explore lessons learned in strengthening approaches to countering COVID-19 disinformation and hate speech through accessible, factual information and media literacy in the Mekong Region. The Regional Dialogue will draw upon experiences from IFES’ CSO partners and share insights from key stakeholders on regional and global practices in countering disinformation and hate speech through media literacy.
