>From Carers World Wide:

Dear Friends,

To celebrate our 10th anniversary, Carers Worldwide will be holding a series of six one-hour-long webinars entitled Carers: The Big Conversation to raise the profile of family carers globally.

Our webinars will provide a platform for practitioners, policymakers, and academics who have lived experience of caring alongside their professional insights. We will also hear from family carers living in India, Nepal, and Bangladesh who are taking part in our projects.

We expect to ignite conversations amongst individuals, charities, companies, policymakers, and academics on how they can include family carers in their own spheres of work and geographical locations, thereby increasing the numbers of those ready to commit to carers.

Click here to register for our first webinar<https://bit.ly/39G9ZrI>, Let's Talk About...Being a Carer, on Tuesday 7th June at 1pm BST or 2pm CEST or 5.30pm IST or 5.45pm NPT or 6.00pm BDT.

This first webinar of the series will give you the opportunity to hear directly from two carers who are using their caring experiences in their working lives to support other carers. Participants will learn about the challenges and joys of caring and ways carers can be supported in a range of settings and in a range of ways. You will also hear directly from Parvathi, a carer from the Koppal district in Karnataka State, India. She has been involved in the care for the carers programme from the beginning and she will be sharing insights into her life - these stories allow us to understand more about the differences and similarities in caring across the world.

The session will be facilitated by Anil Patil, Founder of Carers Worldwide, and introduced by Chris Underhill, our Ambassador. Guests are Emilie Weight, the Patients' Advocacy and Sustainability Head at Merck France<https://www.merckgroup.com/fr-fr> , and James Townsend, CEO and Co-Founder of Mobilise<https://www.mobiliseonline.co.uk/>.

Please do register for our first webinar and share it widely amongst your contacts, network, and social media - many thanks in advance!

Best wishes
Anil
