On behalf of the Secretariat I would like to wish you all a wonderful International Indigenous Peoples Day 2021.

This day is set aside for people from around the world are encouraged to spread the UN's message on the protection and promotion of the rights of indigenous peoples.
Attached here is a press release from the Secretariat which sheds light on the theme this year which is "Leaving Non One Behind: Indigenous Peoples and the call for a new Social Contract"

I hope that we are able to spread the need of and encourage the realisation of the rights of Indigenous Persons with Disabilities in our celebrations today.
