Dear CSO Executives and colleagues,

We are pleased to launch the CALL for EXPRESSION OF INTEREST to participate in the series of NSA Capacity Building Program planned for 2020.

Kindly see attached the following for more information including application process:

Deadline for application is 14 January 2020.

The 2020 NSA Capacity Building initiatives comprise 2 distinct but related programs and will be run back – back over 2 weeks in February 2020. You may apply to participate in either or both. Do indicate your preference clearly in the application form. The following table provides a brief outline of the 2 programs.

1.       Policy Development Skills

18 – 20 February

Technical policy skills – research, policy analysis, coalition building, policy influencing, developing advocacy strategies, and exploring opportunities for engagement


2.       Monitoring  and tracking implementation of policy initiatives towards Ending Violence Against Women and Girls in Forum Island Countries

25 – 27 February

Training for CSOs on EVAWG Policy Monitoring Toolkit to  empower CSOs to participate in policy formulation, implementation and strengthen CSO and government partnerships to progress implementation of agreed regional and national commitments on ending violence against women and girls.



Kindly note as per EU guidelines under the DF 11 program, CSOs from PACP countries would be fully funded however applicants from non PACP countries may apply as self- funded participants.
