In Palau, the discussions have started late October 2019 with planning
kicking off on Nov 5 and meetings every week. As we are using the already
existing mechanisms, the Palau CBID Consortium and Palau Healthcare
Coalition are sharing resources and working closely together to plan and
lead programs and activities to commemorate this day. The following are the
2019 IDPD events for all of us in Palau. Funding for this week events are
all local resources.

Public Library Read Aloud Program on Raising Awareness on
Disability
Dec 4 Disability Stakeholders Training
***mapping of CRPD implementation using the Palau CBID and Disability
Situational Analysis Report and Palau VNR Report 2019
Dec 5 TV show @ TMC by PNOC, MOH, and PPE, and OMEKESANG
***raising awareness on disability and Youth for Inclusion, Special
Olympics Program, Palau
Dec 6 OMEKESANG Hour, Radio Talkshow
Dec 7 Disability Family Day
***special luncheon party to commemorate and close the 2019 IDPD long week
events
