Dear NGO Representative,

This is a gentle reminder of our request we sent on 26 April 2019 requesting your assistance to spread the news about the upcoming deadline for NGOs to apply for consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) for NGOs that do not have it yet.

We are currently few weeks away from the 1 June 2019 deadline for NGOs to apply for ECOSOC consultative status in order to be considered by the 2020 NGO Committee. NGOs interested in applying for ECOSOC consultative status should submit their application and required documents on or before 1 June 2019.

We acknowledge your ongoing contribution to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and we appeal to you to reach your network to join in the global effort.

With that objective, we would like to kindly request you to post the following announcement on your website or social media platform encouraging NGOs to apply for ECOSOC consultative status on or before 1 June 2019.
