I. DISABILITY DATA WEBINAR SERIES

Webinar #4: 'Gathering data on children with disabilities and learn about administrative data'

When: Wednesday, 22 May 2019

Background:

The Stakeholder Group of Persons with Disabilities invites you to join the fourth webinar of our disability data webinar series on gathering data on children with disabilities and information about administrative data.

2.     Challenges in collecting data for children ages 0-2, Esther Dakin-Poole, Smile Smart Technology

3.     Using disability data in administrative systems in Education Management Information Systems that is emerging, Daniel Mont, Center for Inclusive Policy

II. WORKSHOP ON THE MEASUREMENT OF DISABILITY FOR ORGANISATIONS OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (DPOS)

When: 14 June 2019
Time: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Where: Scandinavia House (58 Park Ave, New York, NY 10016)

UNICEF, in collaboration with the Washington Group on Disability Statistics, Stakeholder Group of Persons with Disabilities, International Disability Alliance and CBM, is organizing a disability data training on the margins of the Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities on the 14th of June.

The workshop will aim to provide information on the importance of disability data in the context of the CRPD and the SDGs, as well as technical information on interpreting and using disability data for policymaking.
