Dear colleagues!

This is to inform you about our great initiative “UNDP-UNV Talent Programme for Young Professionals with Disabilities” (see programme flyer attached). Aim of this initiative is to

  *   increase inclusion of persons with disabilities in the workforce of the development sector and to
  *   build a talent pipeline of highly qualified professionals with disabilities who can contribute to the attainment of the SDGs at national and global levels.

UNV offers a range of different Descriptions of Assignments (DOA) under the Talent Programme for Young Professionals with Disabilities.

Attached you find two of the most recent DOA for UN Volunteers positions as “Research Officer” with RBAS in New York and as “Justice and Innovation Officer” with UNDP in Moldova. The deadline for applications for these two positions is 14. July.

We would appreciate, if you shared the DOA widely in your network, especially with Swedish nationals with disabilities and their organizations.

To be eligible for these positions applicants must be:

  *   Young professionals under the age of 35
  *   Completed an undergraduate degree
  *   Person living with a disability
  *   Swedish nationals

In case interested persons do not fulfill the eligibility criteria they can sign up in the UNV Talent Pool, nevertheless! They will be found then for further positions which are opened to persons with disabilities from other nationalities.
