South Africa's social security transfer system has a major impact on the lives of persons with disabilities. Yet, while there are positive lessons for other nations, steps must be taken to make the system disability-inclusive. So concludes the first of a major new series of social protection and disability working papers which we launch today to mark the Global Disability Summit.
