Dear WBU members,

As you know, the WBU has been working for a number of years to improve access to audio description services for film, television and live theatre for the benefit of blind and partially sighted persons. While audio description services have improved significantly in some parts of the world, they are not available at all in other parts of the world.

Dr. Joel Snyder, who supports the American Council of the Blind Audio Description program, has been working with our WBU team in trying to learn more about what is available in terms of audio description around the world.  Dr. Snyder has developed a very brief survey which we would ask you to take the time to complete.  The survey is available using the SurveyMonkey service on the internet. It is fully accessible and it has been translated into English, French, Spanish and Portuguese through the assistance of Dr. Snyder.  When you are finished the survey, you simply select "Submit" and the survey will be sent automatically.  The deadline for completing the survey is April 15th.

Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey and infoming us about audio description services that may or may not be available in your country.
