Dear Members,

The European Union and United Nations recently announced the Spotlight Initiative: EUR 500 million to end violence against women. While promising, the role of women’s movements and the amount of funding that will meaningfully reach women’s organisations remain unclear.

The Count Me In! Consortium has developed a list of recommendations to make sure women’s movements play a central role as partners defining and implementing the Spotlight Initiative and we need your endorsement to strengthen our multilateral advocacy around these funds.
