Dear WBU Members,
As you know, José Viera has been appointed the new CEO of WBU following my retirement early next year.  That then means that we will need to fill José's current position as Human Rights Policy Advisor. A Career Opportunity for this post is attached.  This position is, as you know, generously funded by CBM and the contract is negotiated on an annual basis. For that reason it is a one year contract position with the possibility of renewal. The individual must have excellent oral and written English communications skills as we prepare a lot of submissions for UN agencies and must be very familiar with such instruments as the CRPD, the SDG's, and Marrakesh Treaty. The position is based in the home country of the employee, either home based or in partnership with our national member in that country. Please do share this excellent opportunity with those who you feel might be well suited to this important role.
