On behalf of the UN Resident Coordinator Offices (RCOs), we invite you to a
reflection dialogue and discussion on Climate Security in the Pacific. This
event will take place on* 12 July 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
(Fiji, RMI, Kiribati) / 9:00 am to 11:00 am (Pohnpei) / 18:00-20:00 (New
York) at the UN RCO, 8th Floor Conference Room, Kadavu House, Suva, and
online* (see Teams link below).



This dialogue, open to invited key stakeholders, aims to discuss lessons
learned from the UN Secretary-General's support on climate security for the
Pacific and other regional climate security programs. Presentations and key
reflections will be provided by the UN team, the Pacific Islands Forum
Secretariat (PIFS), as well as regional and country institutions working on
climate security initiatives.



We hope you will be available to join the discussion. Please find attached
a tentative agenda. Kindly RSVP to elaine.yates at un.org before COB 11 July
2024, indicating if you will attend in person or online.
