[PDF-youth] Youth with Disabilities_ UNICEF and CBM are looking for hard-of-hearing youth/youth with psychosocial disabilities or visual impairment

From CBM:

We (CBM Disability Inclusion and I, their consultant) are working with UNICEF on a set of disability inclusion videos featuring children and young people with disabilities.

UNICEF and their film producer are working with an existing network of children and young people to find potential people to feature in the videos.

But they have some gaps in their networks, and asked if we can recommend 1-2 young persons to feature in the videos who are:
· aged ~13-20 years (above 20 can also be OK as far not many young disability advocates get a chance to be active before this age)
· hard of hearing youth (uses speech to communicate), youth with a psychosocial disability or a vision impairment
· in the Pacific, West Africa or East Asia
· charismatic, a youth advocate or strong public speaker (in English or local languages)
At this stage UNICEF is asking for just a few recommendations on people who we think would be great for this, and they will run a selection afterwards. If you can think of someone, please let me know (karina.chupina at gmail.com<mailto:karina.chupina at gmail.com>)
