multi-component programs for girls. </span><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif; color:#C00000">Evidence from nine studies that include more than 50,000 adolescents across Latin America, sub-Saharan Africa, and South Asia
</span><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif; color:#222222">indicates that empowerment and interventions that bolster girls' skills and financial literacy can improve girls' education, health, and economic outcomes, increase their social capital, and
decrease violence.</span></p>
