The year 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action<https://unwomen.us16.list-manage.com/track/click?u=94b6059152693ca65a41a4798&id=16c6a13713&e=3d1550ec76>, a pivotal global agreement on gender equality and human rights.
UN Women’s Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific in collaboration with the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), is launching this call for applicants to the Beijing+30 Civil Society Steering Committee.

Be a catalyst for change and amplify the voices of CSOs
at the regional review of the Beijing Declaration!

Members of the Steering Committee will ensure the effective, coordinated and inclusive engagement of civil society organizations in the regional review process leading up to the global Beijing+30 review in 2025, at CSW69.
Participating in the steering committee provides civil society organizations (CSOs) with:

  *   a platform to influence decision-making and advocate for policy change
  *   access to resources and networks
  *   capacity building
We are looking for global, regional, sub-regional, and/or national CSOs focused on women's rights, gender equality and diverse or intersectional feminist issues with relevant thematic experience in the Asia-Pacific region, check details below for more information.
Deadline to apply: 12 May 2024
