Oh, Sister! is a documentary about six women facing the challenges of the ongoing Russian invasion, and fighting for peace, justice and freedom in Ukraine.
Oh, Sister! sheds light on women's stories and spotlights how Ukrainian women are working to safeguard fundamental human rights in the face of war. Generating support for women-led organisations in Ukraine, and continuing to put pressure on the international community to ensure an end to war, and the inclusion of women at all levels of decision making now, and in the eventual recovery and rebuilding process, is more important than ever.

The film was commissioned by the Nobel Women's Initiative in partnership with United for Ukraine<https://www.unitedforukraine.org/en-us>, following the journey of three female Nobel Peace Prize laureates - Tawakkol Karman of Yemen, Jody Williams of USA, and Leymah Gbowee of Liberia - to Krakow, Poland, and Lviv, Ukraine in June 2022. The film was produced by Ukrainian production company 23/32 Films<https://2332.film/>, and directed by Hanna Kapylova. It was released to the public on 16 December 2022.
