For those of you spending more time indoors these days, or in need of a community-building or educational tool around gender justice, I am excited to let you know the docuseries  Fundamental: Gender Justice. No Exceptions<https://fundamental-film.com/> is now streaming online and available for virtual screening events.

Fundamental is a character-driven documentary film series from Global Fund for Women, presented in five short episodes, and directed by two-time Academy Award-winner Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.

Each episode shines a light on grassroots activists and community organizers who are fighting for gender justice and disrupting the status quo to alter the course of history.



In this unprecedented moment, it’s critical to ensure the voices of women, girls, and marginalized communities are heard, and it’s paramount that everyone stays healthy and safe.

Stories and film have a unique ability to bridge divides and bring us together as part of something bigger than ourselves – to connect us and create empathy during perilous times.



That is why at this time, Global Fund for Women is pleased to make the film series and accompanying discussion guides and host-a-virtual-screening toolkits available free of charge to community groups, professional organizations, college/high school/middle school/after school teachers, alumni networks, book/film discussion groups, and circles of friends and family.

Global Fund for Women ‘s engagement team is on hand to guide groups through the process from start to finish.
