We all accepted this role in deep accountability to the global and local networks we are a part of, and the broader feminist climate justice movement.  As civil society co-leads, we remain steadfast in our belief and advocacy that this process must be deeply consultative and inclusive of civil society and feminist movements.

This includes specific focus on substantive inclusion of women, femme, gender non-binary people from the majority South networks, Black, Indigenous, People of Colour, Urban poor, Rural and Maritime communities, sex workers, LGBTQI+, Women with disabilities, and others.

In order to kickstart this conversation, we will host two introductory consultation calls for civil society groups next week.

·  This will be an initial space to introduce the Action Coalitions, the co-leads and our intentions, and lay out our understanding of the process. It will also be to learn from our partners and allies on how they want to be involved.
·  This will be the first of many consultations, which in the future will be in multiple languages and in additional time blocks.
