Dear colleagues:

Trust this email finds you all well in this time of global crisis.

I am writing to seek your support and inputs on the Call for consolidated
written inputs from stakeholder groups to the Chair’s Statement in
preparation for the 7th Asia Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development. You
can provide your contributions from your own organization to this call
mentioned in the email below.

Also, please know that the Disability Constituency will do and submit its
consolidated, one page statement to this call as well. I am reaching out to
you all to kindly send in your inputs and contributions based on the
following questions. Kindly appreciate to receive your responses no later
than, Wed, April 8, 2020.

1) What have we (Disability Constituency) progressed the most in our
region?

2) What are the most important challenges to accelerate transformation and
implementation of the SDGs in our region? What are the actions and
approaches that can be used to address these challenges?

3) What are the benefits of VNR process and best practices for the support
toward the VNR process?

4) How can we Disability Constituency (or Persons with Disabilities)
contribute to strengthening all our efforts for the follow up and review of
VNR, HLPF, APFSD, and PFSD?

Thank you and looking forward to all your positive support. Stay safe and
blessed everyone.

With warm regards,

Villaney.

Subject: Inviting major group/stakeholder/constituency written
contributions to the Chair’s Statement for the 7th APFSD
To:

You have been invited to participate in the consultations in the lead up to
the 7th APFSD, and many have joined. However, we are aware that not all
have been able to participate.

We would therefore like to invite contributions to the development of
joint, written contributions to the Chair’s statement for the 7th
Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development *by major
group/stakeholder/constituency group*, as outlined in the attached
document. The Asia-Pacific Regional CSO Engagement Mechanism will work
with the APFSD secretariat to coordinate this effort.

If you would like to contribute on behalf of your organization, please
register at this link by *Monday, 6 April** at noon, Bangkok time, for
follow up by APRCEM focal points*.

Please feel free to contact <escap-cso-apfsd at un.org> with any questions.

Best regards,

APFSD secretariat
