President of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, H.E. Dr. Hilda C. Heine, will convene a first virtual conference of the Pacific Women Leaders’ Coalition and is encouraging women leaders from various fields to participate in this Conference to raise the profile and build wider support for women issues regionally and locally. This Conference is expected to include Woman Heads of States/Governments, senior policy-makers, members of Parliament and Legislatures, Regional Organizations, Academia, Private Sectors, Civil Society Organization, community and Non-Government Organization.
The conference to be convened in the Marshall Islands will engage Pacific women leaders in a combination of live and virtual interactions including presentations, Q&A from panels and open forum for questions, enabling interested women from anywhere in the Pacific to ask questions of Pacific women leaders in attendance.
