Are you looking to learn about CEDAW as a revolutionary framework for social change, and enhance your skills as a women's human rights defender? Join us in Oxford, UK, in June 2020!
We are now accepting applications for the CEDAW for Change Institute in Oxford, UK. The program will run from June 1st to June 6th, 2020, with an additional online learning component.
This intensive capacity-building institute focusses on feminist activist approaches to CEDAW, the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, alongside complementary international and regional human rights frameworks and mechanisms to support strategic advocacy and leadership capacities amongst women's human rights defenders. Innovative approaches to combatting intersectional discrimination against women in a context of backlash and processes to support cross-movement and cross-regional alliances will be explored with international women's human rights defenders and leaders.
