All your support and work towards our campaign is making an impact!! As we speak, there are some changes being made to the said resolution! The policy circles are waking up and taking notice of our movement's voice and advocacy against psychiatrization of SDGs. #StopsychiatrizingSDGs

We thank you for this unwavering support and solidarity.

As the campaign is nearing its last phase, we request you once again to please share the news of the campaign widely in your networks; show us your support by endorsing our statement; share your/your organization's statement with us; write to the Permanent Representatives of your countries to the UN soliciting their support; share our campaign webpage link, poster on your social media handles.

In brief, led by a Mexican Psychiatrist (Mr. Juan Ramon de la Fuente), who is on the UN Permanent Mission of Mexico (Mexican Ambassador to the UN), a mental health resolution in the context of the SDGs is being proposed. It will be adopted by the end of April.  The webpage gives the basic history and status of this topic, with which some of our movement's key leaders have engaged since the last decades.

Please find attached also, TCI's opposition to this resolution.

Please find here a copy of the resolution.  It is not uploaded anywhere and has not been put out for consultations.  We are circulating it only by email.

Please find attached, also, the poster for the campaign, in case you want to share it with your networks or use it for your campaign. Feel free to upload this on your social media handles, website, etc. Please tag us if you use it on your social media. It will make it easier for us to pick it up and work together on this!

As mentioned above you and your organizations can also consider writing to Permanent Representatives of your country to the UN to solicit their support towards our campaign. We are also sharing the list of potential ambassadors along with this email.
